No Beat Radio is moving to Monday Nights & extending to an extra hour of programming!
No Beat Radio - CIUT 89.5 FM (In Toronto)- UPCOMING SHOWS... TWO IN ONE WEEK!!! NEW SLOT!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------- September 15 * Interview with Greg Chambers from Mean Red Spiders before their gig at Wavelength Sunday Sept. 17. * New and upcoming releases; including Kid Sniper's new Vantage Point EP on the eve of their CD EP release at the Elmo (Sept 15) September 18 * Interview with Moncton's Peter Parkers (*** weather permitting). * An extra hour of goodies & treats!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------- - WAVELENGTH - The next installment of Wavelength is September 17 when Mean Red Spiders take the stage with Someone Is Flying (The latter being the project of members of Do Make Say Think). DJ-ing will be provided by DJ Dave Newfeld. Also, No Beat Radio hosts the first Sunday of every Month at Wavelength, the next one being October 1, 2000. That night will feature Chatham's Square Root of Margaret; alongside a yet to be determined act. Past No Beat Radio Wavelength nights have featured Parts Unknown; The Hassle, DJ-ing by Jason Amm (AKA Solvent); Ceisla, Blackwell & Associates; Sinphonic; Winterbrief (from Philadephia PA); Parade; Chromosphere; DJ-ing by Plan Eleven's David Faris; Zebradonk; Deep Dark United; Interstellar; Nilan Perrera; Speedway & |Head|Phone|Over|Tone|. The location of the Wavelength shows is Ted's Wrecking Yard, 549 College Street, Toronto. There is no cover charge at these nights, though you can pay what you would like. If you like the type of music on the show; you will most likely like the line-up each and every Sunday.
