So the boys broke with tradition and invited their friends to perform Parts songs for the release of The Ocean's Wrong. Bands like Neck, Mean Red Spiders, and Amor de Cosmos did their take on past Parts Unknow ditties. I think there was cake too that night.
In any case, the evening was put to tape and 1 year later this-"Music From Parts Unknown". Some really cool bands do really cool versions of our kind of cool songs. It also includes a four-tracked techno version of Paranormal (from Ocean's Wrong)that we recorded in one night on Richmond Street with a case of Massive Irish. It was our contribution to the "electronica" craze of the mid-late 90's.It seemed everybody was using drum machines...glad that's over with...go help us all...
